Let's just name it and then we can work at solving it.

It's greed. It's not healthy and something needs to change.

I hear stuff on the news and shake my head in disgust. Now I am wondering, what can a insignificant peon like myself do to help?

I find that if you don't watch, listen to, or read the news, it helps with the head shaking. Plus, then I find it easier to believe that the rest of the world is exactly like my own little slice of paradise. From my [narrow] point of view, the world and everyone in it is fabulously wonderful!

Watching the news leads you to think thoughts like "insignificant peon," and who wants to think that?

Holy cow! Was this a recent comic, or did Watterson have a vision of the future? If I think too hard about it, I get very angry.....I feel my self getting large and turning green! (was Hulk a feruchemist?)
